One of my family’s favorite hotels to stay at if we are doing a late night venue in the Salt Lake City downtown area is the Downtown Sheraton. We book a “Club Level” room as you get basically a light dinner, a variety of alcoholic beverages, and non alcoholic beverages, an awesome espresso machine that makes a variety of coffee beverages. Even hot chocolate for the kids which is a big thing for my kiddo. As well as breakfast in the morning. The “Club” is open all day for you to go in and out to grab a soda or bottle water before you hit the road or when you return.

We figure you are going to spend money eating out, and if you do like your specialty drinks you know they are pricey when you go out so you really save money if you get a good rate when booking club level at any Sheraton hotel.

We have also stayed at the Hyatt right across from the Vivant Areana home to the Utah Jazz! The Hyatt is great but, only breakfast is included. There is a outside pool that is open year round for the kids.

Just recently due to my basement flooding we stayed at the new Embassy Suites in the South Jordan, UT area. They also offer a evening social as well as breakfast. It was nice and new.

I have been wanting to try the Hotel Monaco here in Salt Lake which is a Kimpton brand hotel. They have a evening social, and some other fun & interesting perks. Some of them will put a gold fish in your room as well as take care of it, yoga mats and bicycles to use.
