During this whole Covid-19 epidemic we finally got sick of staying home so we jumped in the car this past Saturday to go check out a “ghost town ” as my Daughter has been wanting to do this. So we looked one up online saw it was about an hour drive.
Where were we head you ask? Well a small town with a population of 23. The town is called Ophir, UT.

Due to the Covid-19 nothing was open. During the summer months they say the doors to the buildings are open to look inside. We had to peak through windows. This use to be a old mining town. There are some cool old remnants left of this.

Who would have guessed this little town was hidden in the mountains. You would never know it was here unless you googled something like mining towns, or ghost towns in Utah.
