We took a road trip to Phoneix, AZ to see Taylor Swift this past May. It was just getting to be ridiculously hot!

We stayed inFlagstaff the first night at a Holiday Inn which was ok. Clean, pool, served breakfast.

Then when we got to our hotel which we pre booked via Marriott we were not impressed with the location or the actual hotel.

We checked out another Marriott hotel which was much better, and we wanted to stay there, but they were full due to the concert. They were great and called over to another Residence Inn in Happy Valley, AZ and was able to book us a room there for the remainder of our stay.

We usually like the Marriott Residence Inn as they give you the evening social which is basically your dinner/drinks then in the morning a full breakfast.

We also checked out Sedona, AZ. Fun, but pricey very touristy.
